Powder Horn

The Powder Horn is open to Boy Scout and Venturing leaders who are involved in delivering a high adventure outdoor program to older Scouts and Venturers. The Powder Horn course provides information and training in the wide variety of high adventure activities. Future course information can be found on the Powder Horn website.

Sea Scout Leader Specialized Training
Venturing Leader Specific Training

These courses will cover leadership and organization, Crew/Ship structure, advancement and awards, Advisor’s/Skipper’s responsibilities, resources and program planning, and much more.


Venturing Leader Specific Training (VLST) and Sea Scout Leader Specialized Training (SSLST) are geared toward Crew Advisors and Sea Scouters, but Commissioners and District Staff who support the Venturing or Sea Scouting programs will find this information useful as well.
