Report to the Community

As part of the 100th Anniversary of Scouting, we are asking our Packs, Troops and Crews to deliver a Report to the Community.

It is a great way to show the success of Scouting in your community.

The Report starts with an opening ceremony of historic flags, delivering a Report to the Community, including advancement and membership information about the units in your town, trips and events you took, and community service provided to the town.  It concludes with the town presenting a Proclamation celebrating the Anniversary.

Since February 8, 2009 is the 99th Anniversary of Scouting, we are hoping to deliver this Report to your town at the Town Council Meeting in February or March.

Please complete the interest form now, and we will contact you with the available Town Council dates, and any other necessary information.  Any questions please contact John Dorn by email at jodorn@bsamail.org or by telephone, 973-765-9322x234.

In 2007 over 20 Towns participated - help us spread the good word of Scouting to your Town in early 2009!
