Happy Birthday BSA

Is your scout unit 25 years old? 50? 75?  100?

The Patriots' Path Council is inviting units to create a display depicting their scouting history . These displays are planned as part of our celebration of  the 100th anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America. The display might include photos, charters, vintage scout equipment, memorabilia, and unit achievements and honors. Perhaps Eagle Scouts who have achieved something notable or Scouters who were especially dedicated.

The display will be placed in the lobby of the Florham Park headquarters for a month to six weeks. Tables and easels are available.

This display can also be set up in your home community at selected locations. Scout Week (February 7-14) is a good time for community displays showing off our scouting service to youth and nation.

Patriots' Path Council 100TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION BANNER

Patriots’ Path Council is celebrating BSA’s 100th anniversary in 2010. One way we thought we could get the word out is by having a banner that units could display when marching in a parade or display at other unit functions. The banner is displayed at the Council Service Center in Florham Park and is available to be “loaned out” for units to use.

If a Unit would like to borrow a 2’ by 8’ banner for use anytime please see the attached form on how to borrow a banner. Stay tuned for more Information on our 100th anniversary celebrations.

If you have any questions contact Elsie Hemmings at elsie.hemmings@scouting.org
