FAMILY DISCOUNT TICKET SALES
COST OF FAMILY DISCOUNT TICKETS— The cost of each ticket is $10.00 and will admit a family to the Scout Expo regardless of number in family.
CARD COMMISSION PLAN— This plan is very simple! For all tickets sold, the Unit will earn a 30% commission! The full commission will only be paid to those Units reconciling their accounts by May 1, 2010. May 1–May 8, a 20% commission will be paid. NO commissions will be paid after May 8, 2010. Treat the Discount cards as cash— they have a value of $10 each!
TIPS FOR TICKET SALES:
Each Ticket costs $10 and has 32 Discount coupons on it that are good for an entire year!
Schedule “Show and Sell”dates in front of the stores listed on the coupons.
Make a script for the boys to follow when selling.
Set a high goal of the number of tickets the boys will sell.
Track the number of tickets allocated to each boy.
Have a plan in place for whether the parent takes responsibility for lost tickets or the Unit will absorb the cost.
Commissions are paid based on the total number of tickets sold.
Collect all unsold discount cards and monies raised, account for and consolidate all unsold cards, and turn in unsold cards with payment for your cards sold by May 1, 2010.
