Preliminary Boy Scout-Venture Activities
Disability Awareness program area: a program area that is involved with
disabilities of the 5 senses; sight, hearing, smelling, touch, and
taste.

Buckskin Games program area : a program area that is involved in a set
of competitive activities that men participated in during the early 19th
century. The games feature instruction in and  firing of muzzle-loading
guns, a tomahawk  throw, a knife throw, a bucking bronco event, bullwhip
cracking, and branding.

Conservation - Nature program area: a program area that is involved
with nature and conservation related topics which include "Leave No
Trace" Philosophy  .

Physical Fitness program area: a program area that is involved with
physical skill sets, races, mountain bike racing, and Iron man course

Exhibits program area: static and interactive exhibits which exhibit the
theme of  the History of The Boy Scouts of America.

Skill-O-Rama program area: a program area that is involved with the
"show and  do" and the "hands on" of Boy Scout skills both old and new.
This includes cooking, pioneering, semaphore, first aid, backpacking,
and camping.

Service to Community program area: a program area that is involved with
the services that are involved with the betterment of the community.
Involved with this area are members of the Salvation Army, Red Cross,
AmeriCorps, and Community of Emergency Response Teams (CERT).

Night show program

*         Have slide show of the day events
*         Special awards with a special speaker
*         Parade of Eagle Scouts on stage
*         Order of the Arrow involvement
*         Skits, songs, run-ons
*         Special entertainment
*         Fireworks
*         End with Vespers

If so, then join the 2009 Patriots’ Path Jamboree staff!

Be part of a Jamboree that will be held in October 2009. We expect 5000-7000 Scouts to attend.

 

We need help to staff this event.

Program Areas- Physical Fitness, Exhibits, Skill-O-Rama

Support/Physical  Arrangements  Munsee sub-Camp chief, Raritan Valley sub-Camp chief, Health and Safety Officers

Promotions – Need Vice chair
