In February 2010, the Boy
Scouts of America will celebrate 100 years as an organization. Founded as an
outlet to prepare every eligible youth in America to become a participating
citizen and leader, BSA has more than fulfilled its mission. Today, as we
celebrate our first 100 years, we not on only reflect on our rich history,
but lay the foundation for a strong future, as well. |

CALLING ALL EAGLE SCOUTS...
CYCLING THE LOOP!
My name is Cory White and I am an Eagle Scout from Troop 165 in Fredericksburg, Virginia. My father, Bruce White, has been the Scoutmaster of our troop for the past 12 years and together we have come up with a dream to ride our bicycles on a 2000 mile loop, starting in Fredericksburg, looping up through the Northern States and back down to Bowling Green, Virginia, finishing at the Grand Opening Ceremony of the 100th Anniversary of Scouting National Jamboree at Fort A.P Hill.
The riders would consist of ONLY Eagle Scouts and our goal is to have a rider from EVERY council in the nation ride with us.
We have a web site, WWW.Cyclingtheloop..org, where you can get more information. Please take a moment to learn about our adventure.
Please help us find that Eagle Scout in YOUR council.
Thank You for Your Time,
~Cory White~ |
